What's on

Edible Open Gardens
Transition Stroud are planning two Edible Open Gardens weekends following the success of last years weekend where 37 gardens opened in Stroud, Gloucestershire. This year on the weekends of 7th,8th,14th and 15th July another 40 gardens (16 new) are set to open including organic, biodynamic, medicinal, and permaculture gardens, individual, community and vegan allotments, new and mature orchards, rainwater harvesting and forest gardens. The gardeners and allotment holders open their gardens for free in the hope that their knowledge and interest will encourage people to grow more of their own fruit and vegetables. There will also be free workshops over the weekends on chicken keeping, composting, making your own poly tunnel and lots more. Free entry to all gardens.
